In the clinic I could help whoever walked into the room. That was the limit. Coaching raised it to whoever found me. Still a limit.
We moved to Portugal in 2022 for the family. I wanted the kids to grow up certain the world is big, and that hard things are worth doing.
Twenty years in, one conviction: if a patient never sees the value in your care, they never receive it. They just don't come back. Everything since is me trying to say that in more rooms than I can stand in.
